Reason For Search Must Comply With Allowable Reasons Under The Driver Privacy Protection Act.
Valid reasons may fall under domestic, civil, or criminal type investigations (examples- Divorce, Custody, Adultery, Civil Suits, Personal Injury, Protection Orders, Property Damage, Trespassing, Stalking/Harassment, Theft, Assault, Fraud), insurance cases (Hit & Run, Accident Recovery), Business Debt Recovery, Process Service, Fraud Prevention, Notice to Owner of Towed or Impounded.

BDA is not responsible for blocked or non-deliverable emails (results are sent by email to your paypal email address or to the email address entered at checkout on payment form). Customers who do not receive results within the normal turnaround time, must contact us at 219-629-3260.
Because orders are processed immediately, no cancellations allowed or accepted after an order has been submitted.
The turnaround time for each state displayed on the BDA Web Site is defined as the normal time it takes for results to be delivered. Since turnaround times may vary in rare situations (state request backups, state computer problems, etc), BDA does not guarantee the turnaround time.
BDA is not responsible for errors typed in by customers. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure correct state is chosen, and correct plate number is typed in. Note that customer’s reason for search must match one of the allowable legal reason choices listed. Providing a false reason is illegal.

(No Hits occur when a plate number is either copied down incorrectly, and the state has no current record of plate number, or the plate number has been expired for over a period of 2 to 15 years depending on the state.)

Manual License Plate Search States are states that do not provide an accessible database for registration records, thus the basic $25 record is NOT available. To attain a record in these states requires that we must fill out a form and fax or mail it in.

The most common reasons why customers do not receive results within the normal turnaround time are:
1 - Customer accidently entered an incorrect email address at payment checkout.
2 - Customers email security setting is set too high for our emails to be accepted.
